Swiss-Italian singer-songwriter Veronica Fusaro has emerged as one of Switzerland’s most distinctive voices, known for her sharp lyricism, soulful presence, and a genre-blending sound that fuses alternative pop with elements of rock, soul, and funk.
Born and raised in Thun, she discovered music early on as a personal refuge — a space where vulnerability could be transformed into strength. Her breakthrough came in 2016 when she won “Demo of the Year” at m4music and was named SRF 3 Best Talent, marking the beginning of a steadily rising career.
Since then, Fusaro has released three EPs and her debut album All the Colors of the Sky (2023), which entered the Swiss charts at #5 and earned her her hometown’s Culture Prize. In 2025, she gained international recognition as one of IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch”, followed in 2026 by her selection to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna with her song “Alice”, where she will bring her artistry to one of the world’s largest global stages.
A magnetic live performer, Fusaro has played over 500 shows worldwide, ranging from intimate club settings to major festival stages including Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Gurtenfestival. She has also supported legendary acts such as Mark Knopfler at the Amphitheatre in Nîmes. Her concerts are defined by a rare balance of intimacy and intensity, creating moments that feel both personal and electrifying.
Her second album, Looking for Connection (released October 24, 2025), marks her most personal work to date. Exploring the paradox of modern life — constant digital connection paired with emotional isolation — the album transforms these tensions into songs that are both introspective and rhythmically compelling. Singles such as “Gold Rush”, “Slot Machine”, and “Jealousy” explore themes of self-doubt, ambition, and comparison culture, while “No Rain No Tears” celebrates human closeness, earning international airplay and chart placements in Switzerland (Top 50) and Germany (Top 200).
With a rare ability to turn melancholy into light, Veronica Fusaro creates music that resonates deeply and connects across borders — establishing her as an artist with lasting international impact.
